About the Role

Total Wine & More is looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Digital department in our Bethesda headquarters. As part of the Marketplace Delivery team, you will identify opportunities to grow Total Wine's sales and profitability across multiple online marketplace delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber, Instacart, and more). In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to create reports to expand self-service capabilities, create dashboards to extract intelligence, and present findings and recommendations that achieve our goals. You will be a critical contributor in our data-driven test and learn process, which includes building testing requirements for pricing, assortment, merchandising, and delivery enhancements, as well as ensuring data and reporting is at the highest quality. You will report into the Senior Manager, Omni-Channel Retail. 

You will

  • Build and maintain our PowerBI business reporting
  • Gather and refine reporting requirements from business stakeholders to develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports
  • Lead analytics in our test and learn practice, providing direction and recommendations
  • Use data to answer business questions, extract insights, and tie them to an action to provide recommendations and directions to complete
  • Develop a deep understanding of each delivery platform, the purchasing funnel, and best practices in the industry
  • Partner with merchandising, pricing, accounting, stores, and technology teams to identify opportunities to grow and improve the business
  • Lead efforts in planning, designing, and coordinating ongoing and ad hoc analysis projects

You will come with

  • BS/BA Required
  • 3-5 years of retail operations, business analyst, or project management experience
  • Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and Power Point for professional presentations
  • Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and PowerBI for building reporting dashboards
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of effective cross-functional communications
  • Self-directed and highly driven with a strong business sense
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to manage conflicting priorities

Pay Range:

$84,600.00 – $141,200.00
