About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations to join our Store Operations team onsite in our Bethesda, MD office. You will oversee compliance and regulatory tracking, operational projects, and support company initiatives in relation to Store Operations. In addition, you’ll be able to enhance performance and reliability with technology systems in conjunction with operational projects. You will be a conduit between the Field/Stores and the Store Support Center and have a working knowledge of Total Wine & More operating and/or inventory systems. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Store Operations.

You will

  • Work with business partners to create processes and documentation to improve efficiencies and meet compliance requirements
  • Manage priorities to deliver strategic, cross-functional, and highly visible projects within time, cost, scope, with requirements to improve efficiency
  • Build relationships with Total Wine & More store team members, field leaders, and business partners to ensure successful store execution of projects
  • Coordinate rollouts, training, operational policy updates, and communications of multiple programs and Store Operations enhancements
  • Create store communications that are accurate, clear, and concise to instruct, collect, or inform of store operating procedures
  • Promote communication and cross collaboration between departments to drive results.
  • Establish training materials, such as quick reference guides, discussion guides, e-learning content, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously assess procedures to improve store efficiencies and sustainability
  • Generate reports to track compliance and other processes
  • Address customer inquiries and analyze issues and roadblocks to offer appropriate solutions.
  • Visit stores to ensure successful store execution of projects and procedures

You will come with

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-4 years of retail management experience, or previous operational support or customer success role
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends (if necessary) to meet deadlines
  • Ability to actively participate and communicate effectively in training sessions, meetings, and presentations in person and through email, telephone, and conference calls
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Excel (Text, Logic, Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts), PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Agilence, Atlassian, Power BI, PowerPivot, and Reflexis
