About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Lead Analyst, Wholesale B2B to join the Store Support Center and support the build-out and ongoing management of a new Business-to-Business (B2B) sales organization. This role will play a critical part in establishing the analytical and operational foundation of the wholesale business by developing KPIs, producing and reviewing reporting, supporting compliance activities, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure effective execution across pricing, assortment, and product availability. The analyst will be able to operate with a high degree of independence and is expected to provide insight, structure, and recommendations as the business scales. This role reports to Wholesale leadership and works closely with cross-functional partners including Operations, Merchandising, Pricing, IT, Legal, and Accounting.

You will

  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure commercial, operational, and compliance performance of the B2B wholesale business, providing visibility into business health, customer experience, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee recurring and ad hoc reporting by analyzing business data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and delivering clear, actionable insights to Wholesale and Store Support Center leadership.
  • Plan and manage compliance and operational review processes by evaluating wholesale operations for adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and established processes, escalating risks and initiating corrective actions to ensure business integrity.
  • Advise cross-functional partners on pricing, assortment, and product availability by analyzing performance data, identifying gaps, and recommending data-driven improvements that support business outcomes and enhance the B2B customer experience.
  • Design and implement scalable analytical tools, workflows, and processes while maintaining a customer-first mindset by partnering with internal teams to diagnose issues, remove friction, and deliver timely, effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

You will come with

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in an analytical, operations, finance, merchandising, or business support role, preferably within retail, wholesale, or multi-channel businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing KPIs, dashboards, and recurring business reporting for leadership audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify insights, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, merchandising, pricing, or compliance-focused teams.
  • Working knowledge of compliance, audit, or policy-adherence processes, or the ability to quickly develop subject matter understanding.
  • Advanced proficiency in data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, databases) with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and propose solutions to non-routine business challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior leaders.

$84,600.00 – $141,200.00 Annual
