Manager, Digital Merchandising Analytics

About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Manager, Digital Merchandising Analytics, to join our growing Digital Analytics team in Bethesda, MD office. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to our Digital Merchandising team, leveraging data to drive product, category, and promotional performance across our digital channels. You’ll lead the analysis of customer behavior and merchandising trends to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy and enhance the online shopping experience. Your work will directly shape the evolution of our digital storefront by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing product presentation, and supporting cross-functional initiatives with impactful, data-backed recommendations. You will report to the Director of Digital Merchandising Analytics. 

You will

• Lead end-to-end analytical initiatives, from defining business questions and setting success metrics to executing analysis and delivering strategic recommendations
• Regularly present insights to senior leadership, including creating clear, compelling presentation materials to support strategic recommendations
• Manage and mentor a digital merchandising analyst, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to help grow analytical capabilities within the team
• Partner directly with business stakeholders across departments to optimize online merchandising strategies and improve customer engagement and conversion
• Lead the development of dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators, measure campaign effectiveness, and surface trends across the digital catalog
• Conduct pre- and post-campaign analysis to evaluate the impact of promotional strategies and inform future planning

You will come with

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital analytics, merchandising analytics, or related fields
• Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
