About the Role
Total wine & More is seeking a Lead, Concierge Sales to join our Store Operations team in our Bethesda MD office. This role plays a key role in driving top-line revenue and margin growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. You will be responsible for cultivating meaningful one-on-one relationships with high-value clients, while partnering closely with store teams, field leadership, and merchants to deliver tailored, high-touch service experiences. This role demands strong sales acumen, a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, and expertise in leveraging CRM tools to manage and optimize client interactions. Your ability to personalize engagement and drive customer loyalty will be essential to achieving performance goals and enhancing the overall client experience. This is role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Sales & Service.
You will
- Drive sales by acquiring and retaining clients, leveraging personal outreach efforts to build strong, long-term relationships.
- Analyze sales data to develop and implement targeted outreach strategies, identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools, including Salesforce, to track client interactions, manage leads, and optimize follow-up actions based on data insights.
- Partner with the Merchant Team and Field Leadership to enhance customer engagement and drive increased sales.
- Communication by phone, email, text and other methods as required.
- Represent the brand in Stores and at VIP events and networking functions, delivering compelling presentations to promote product offerings and client services.
You will come with
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 3-6 years in a fast-paced retail management environment, driving sales and building customer relationships.
- 3-6 years in business process management, multi-store leadership, or sales operations. preferred
- Extensive wine and spirits knowledge, enabling high-touch customer experiences and effective sales consultation.
- Strong sales leadership and strategic planning skills, with a proven track record of driving premium customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other customer relationship management (CRM) tools, leveraging data insights to enhance sales performance.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working cross-functionally with Store leaders and SSC business partners.
- Experience in planning and executing promotional events and tastings, supporting customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Certifications in Wine and Spirits (e.g., WSET, TWP, TSP) are highly desirable, with a passion for expanding knowledge in high-value wines and spirits.
