About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Store Operations to join our Workforce Management team within Store Operations. You will lead operational projects and data-driven decisions for multiple business channels. Working with Ops, IT, and partners, you will help with the implementation of business process enhancements to improve productivity in the stores, reduce costs and provide technical solutions driving through technical enhancements that improve store processes. This position will deliver reporting that helps ensure the fields success on daily business. You will be a conduit between the Field and the Store Support Center and gain working knowledge of Total Wine & More's operating and inventory systems. You will report to the Director, Store Operations and work at our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters.
You will
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting for field dashboards, key performance metrics, and ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Develop reporting via SQL querying and Power BI to translate financial and operational data into insights for major Store Operations Projects.
- Generate recurring and develop ad-hoc analysis to identify, interpret, and focus field management on variables impacting store performance to KPMs.
- Effectively communicate and frequently present analysis to senior Store Operations department and Field leadership.
- Lead the development of project deliverables such as As-Is/To-Be documentation, process maps, use cases, and test cases.
- Availability to do out of state travel up to 10% of the year and work some nights and weekends when needed
You will come with
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years Reporting analyst experience
- Intermediate skill level in Excel (Advanced Formulas and Macros – performing data analysis and report development) and PowerPoint required.
- Project management certification / best practices or tools (e.g., PMBOK, CMM).
- Reporting software experience (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
- Experience querying relational databases using SQL or MS Access.
- Experience with coding languages (Python, Java, C++, HTML, etc)

Pay Range:
$70,470.00 – $114,400.00
