About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Manager, Digital Analytics & Experimentation to join our Digital Analytics team at our Bethesda, MD headquarters. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a team focused on leveraging data to understand and grow our digital business through rigorous experimentation and performance measurement. A strong test-and-learn mindset, cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership are essential. This role reports to the Director of Digital Analytics. 

You will

  • Lead a team of analysts to measure performance and uncover insights across the digital ecosystem (web, mobile, and app)
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine digital analytics frameworks and the experimentation program
  • Generate and validate testable hypotheses related to customer acquisition, retention, conversion, UX, and product features
  • Drive data-informed decisions by participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting product and optimization roadmaps
  •  Present actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Merchandising, and Marketing
  •  Guide Product Owners and Tagging teams on data collection and business requirements
  • Serve as the Optimization Testing expert, overseeing the end-to-end testing lifecycle and ensuring test integrity across platforms

You will come with

  • 6+ years of experience as an analyst in a corporate or consulting environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant quantitative field
  • Proven experience leading optimization programs and test design (hypothesis development, segmentation, success metrics, etc.)
  • Knowledge of experimental design, statistical significance, and test measurement best practices
  • Experience managing individual contributors in a fast-paced analytics environment
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Strong experience using web optimization tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize
  • Understanding of tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager)
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience querying large dataset
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Pay Range:

$101,520.00 – $171,000.00
