About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Lead SAP Hybris Commerce Core Software Engineer to join our Technology team in our Bethesda, MD location. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining RESTful services that support both our mobile and web-based platforms. This includes technical analysis, design, and development on our eCommerce platform. You will report to the Director, Software Engineering.

You will

  • Build RESTful services to support web and mobile-based applications.
  • Technical analysis, design, and development on Hybris platform.
  • Implement enhancements to improve APIs.
  • Update Drools Rules engine to accommodate business needs.
  • Manage 3rd-party payment integrations.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, test automation engineers, and scrum master’s to improve customer experience.
  • Maintain and improve cart and checkout processes for eCommerce website.
  • Understand Hybris task management, catalog composite jobs, order management, and security.
  • Write performance, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Mentor and coach mid & junior-level developers. Monitor, troubleshoot, ID, and resolve production issues.
  • Occasional travel to our Florida office may be involved but less than 60 days/yr and 5 days/trip.

You will come with

  • Bachelors in comp science, technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years’ relevant experience in Java and Spring Framework.
  • 4+ years’ experience in SAP Hybris with 2+ yrs experience in eCommerce
  • 1+ years’ experience in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, messaging systems, and monitoring tools; caching including from a CDN; code reviews, documentation, and version control.

Salary

$175,500 –  $197,900 annual, plus comprehensive benefits.

Pay Range:

$206,800.00 – $289,500.00 Annual
